My name is Adam Sirrelle, and I am a Technical Animator, specialising in Scripting, Rigging and Animation.

I work at 'Foundry 42', one of the UK studios for 'Cloud Imperium Games'. I am responsible for supporting the Art and Animation departments, creating and bug fixing pipeline tools, and problem solving game asset integration to engine.
My key duties have included the rigging, animation, and engine setup for ship landing gear in 3D Studio Max, creating PySide UI for managing and formatting file information, and developing and maintaining python tools and health checks within Maya.

Prior to working here, I was a Construction Designer at 'Travellers Tales Fusion'.
This role involved building, rigging and animating game-mechanics related props within Maya and setting them up in the game editor, using the game editors own scripting logic. I would also be required to setup ai, animated cameras and mini cutscenes within my level.
Additional work would come from other departments, of whom I would relay with, and integrate their work into my level.

While here I worked handheld and console versions of 'Lego Jurassic World', 'Lego Marvel Avengers', and 'Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens'.

I have been fortunate enough to be part of a multi-award winning team, while I was working on advertisements, games and film for 'Kilogramme Animation Studios'.
These advertisements were for 'Kapersky Antivirus software' (winner of the 2013 'MPA', 'Big Chip' and 'Roses' awards for 'Best Use of Animation'), and 'Dragon Wars' a documentary for the 'National Geographic' Channel.

During my time in Manchester I have work for the Facial Animation Specialists 'Cubic Motion' on many AAA titles.
These include 'Fallout 4', 'Mortal Kombat X', 'Mad Max', 'The Order 1886', 'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare', 'Wolfenstein: The New Order', and many more!

In my free time I have been learning to use pymxs and MaxPlus, as well as Unity and C#.

In the past, I was a volunteer for ' Bafta Crew Games', assisting with mentoring young students in creative arts.
This is something I'd be eager to do again, as it feels very rewarding to help others become more creative.

I have a high level experience using both Maya and 3D Studio Max.

Scripting in Python, Mel and Max Script, PySide, and flow script in handheld and console game editors.
Rigging bipeds, quadrupeds, machines and props.
Animating frame by frame, and cleaning body and facial motion capture data.
